Pollution Prevention
In September 2018, Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) introduced regulations to control and manage the discharge of silt contamination into watercourses from construction sites, which is a considerable environmental concern. To comply, Taylor Wimpey East Scotland (TWES) was required to submit Construction Site Licences (CSL) for approval prior to commencing work on site.
After significant research and working closely with SEPA, a PPP format was agreed. A further four plans have since attained approval. To create a PPP, knowledge of numerous areas of civil engineering required extensive research, all of which were completed in-house. Find out more below.
