Great Glen Hall, Inverness
Built in 1864 as a pioneering hospital it stands at the head of the Great Glen Way overlooking the city of Inverness. Closed in 2000 it stood empty for more than a decade and suffered serious fire damage to the central section in an arson attack in 2007. Listed Building consent was obtained for conversion and Robertson Homes worked with teams of planning and heritage experts to progress its transformation into 60 apartments, terraced homes and townhouses.
