Finn’s housing journey
“I am currently facing the challenging prospect of getting on the housing ladder in Edinburgh during a housing emergency like many other people in the city and across the whole of Scotland. I also witnessed my peers in university struggle to secure suitable housing as student numbers recovered after COVID19 in Dundee. My mother worked in the third sector for housing for over a decade, so I grew up hearing about the increasing housing problems facing Scotland. All of this combined with my university research into barriers to housing delivery in Edinburgh means I am very determined to help make a difference in my role at Homes for Scotland.”
